  • Worth the Price Still such good value for this area. Clean, safe, huge room-all at a very fair price.
  • Staff & Service Friendly and helpful. The front desk operates with a personal touch that you don't get at big chains.
  • Hotel Location You are right smack downtown. Walking distance to the grocery store or dinner, which is a luxury after a long drive.
  • Area & Access The setting is high desert rural. It’s quiet (aside from the road) and surrounded by vast landscapes just outside of town.
  • Cleanliness A strong point. Despite the age of the furnishings, the housekeeping team keeps the rooms tidy and smelling fresh.
  • Breakfast Quality The on-site breakfast barely qualifies as a meal, but true food is only footsteps away at neighboring establishments along Main Street.
  • Bed Comfort Big rooms. Old school. There are no modern USB ports or anything else slick and new for that matter—think wood paneling and floral spreads.
  • Internet Quality They technically have free Wi-Fi here; however, the connection in this very far-flung corner of Oregon is both slow and highly sporadic.
  • Interior Freshness "Old West Motel." Feels just right here—cowboy country Lake County.
  • Peace & Quiet Highway and ice machine noise. That's why the decent beds lose two stars in my rating.
  • Long Stay Suitability Quick stopover place 1-2 nights, more than that stay might get inconvenienced by lack of full kitchen or laundry.
  • Parking Convenience Love when I can park right at my door for free. Usually has room for larger trucks or trailers which is a bonus.
